Terms & Conditions
Terms of use for the Wasel platform and its services. By using the app or registering your business on it, you agree to what follows.
1 · Definitions
- Platform / App: the Wasel application and its services across mobile, desktop, and the admin dashboard.
- Subscriber: the pharmacy or warehouse registered on the platform.
- User: anyone who signs in with an account belonging to a subscriber, whether an owner or an employee.
- Services: the accounting system, the online marketplace (Store), or both, depending on your subscription.
2 · Account & registration
- Registration is open only to licensed pharmaceutical businesses, and your application is subject to review and approval before activation.
- You warrant that the information and documents you provide are accurate and current, and you agree to update them when they change.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens through your account and your employees’ accounts.
- The business owner grants and revokes employee permissions and is responsible for managing them.
- We may refuse a registration request or suspend an account if the information proves inaccurate or the licence is no longer valid.
3 · The platform’s role in transactions
This point is fundamental: Wasel is a technical intermediary that lets a pharmacy see what warehouses offer and send them orders. We are not a party to the sale contract between the pharmacy and the warehouse.
- The warehouse is the seller and is responsible for the accuracy of the item’s description, price, quantity, expiry, and the safety of its storage and transport.
- The pharmacy is the buyer and is responsible for verifying what it receives on delivery.
- Delivery, collection, and returns take place directly between the two parties on terms they agree between themselves.
- Any dispute between subscribers is resolved between them. We help by providing the order record on request, without being a party to the dispute.
- We do not guarantee the availability of a given item, a given price, or a delivery date — these are the warehouse’s responsibility.
4 · Catalogue & pricing
- The central drug catalogue is an informational reference to help with searching and identifying items.
- The drug information shown (indications, dosages, interactions) does not replace the official reference or the pharmacist’s professional judgement, and is not medical advice.
- Each item’s wholesale price and quantity are set by the warehouse itself, which is responsible for their accuracy.
- We make a reasonable effort to keep the catalogue up to date and do not guarantee it is error-free. Please report any error so we can correct it.
5 · Subscription & payment
The two services are separate — subscribe to one or both:
- Accounting system: RM 1,000 per year.
- Wasel — Store: RM 800 per year.
- Bundled plan (both services): RM 1,620 per year, a 10% discount.
- A 3-year subscription earns an additional 10% discount on any plan.
Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include use, technical support, and updates for the duration of the subscription. The subscription is collected outside the app through agreed methods. We may adjust prices with at least 30 days’ notice; a change does not apply to a subscription period already in progress.
6 · Renewal, cancellation & refunds
- Subscriptions are annual and do not auto-renew without your confirmation. We remind you before yours ends.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; your access continues until the end of the paid period.
- When a subscription ends without renewal, access to the service stops while your data is kept for a reasonable period before deletion, during which you can export your records or renew.
- Amounts paid for a period that has started are non-refundable, except where we fail to deliver the service for a reason attributable to us.
7 · Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the platform for any purpose that violates the law or Malaysia’s drug-trade regulations.
- List unlicensed or expired items, or inaccurate price and quantity information.
- Share your account with another business, or attempt to access another subscriber’s data.
- Scrape catalogue or warehouse data automatically, or republish or sell it.
- Attempt to breach or disrupt the system, or exceed the bounds of your granted permissions.
8 · Your data & its ownership
- Your business data belongs to you. We hold and process it solely to deliver the service to you.
- You may request a copy of it or its deletion at any time — see the Privacy Policy and the account deletion page.
- Rights to the software, design, and the “Wasel” trademark belong to us; a subscription grants you no rights to them beyond the right to use the service during its term.
9 · Service availability
We aim to keep the service continuously available and do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may pause the service temporarily for maintenance or updates, aiming to do so outside peak hours and with advance notice where possible. The offline feature lets you keep running your pharmacy’s operations locally during a connectivity outage.
10 · Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profit or lost business opportunity.
- We are not liable for a professional decision made in reliance on catalogue information — the official reference and professional judgement remain the basis for such decisions.
- We are not liable for an error in data entered by another subscriber (price, quantity, expiry).
- We are not liable for data loss resulting from the loss or damage of your device before it has synced.
- Our total liability, however arising, does not exceed the value of your subscription payments during the twelve months preceding the incident.
11 · Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for a material breach of these terms, or for use that harms other subscribers or the platform. We will notify you and give you a chance to correct the issue unless the breach is serious or unlawful. You may end your use at any time by deleting your account.
12 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If any clause is found invalid, the remaining clauses stay in effect.
